Hey guys. I just installed an aluminum shaft which I purchased from Stillen. They get them from Powertrain Industries. Man does it vibrate and make noise. Seems like it would cause rearend problems like tearing up the pinion. My question to you all is this. Is it really worth the noise and vibration to have this upgrade? They stand behind their product 100% and offered to try another shaft or a refund. I think I would rather sacrifice the torque for a smooth ride. He did say it sounds like my shaft is bad but explained that going from a 2 piece to a 1 would cause "some noise and vibration". Thing is that I am particular and already running high mods. Approx. how much torque/horse am I really gaining here? Is it worth screwing around to try another shaft?
